What were Sergio Pino, the millionaire property developer who was killed in his house?

Sergio Pino, a prominent and wealthy developer in South Florida, was found dead by suicide inside his home amid an FBI investigation into criminal allegations in his bitter divorce battle with his wife of 32 years.
The accusations were based on arson and stalking, and Tatiana Pino accusing her husband of poisoning her. They’re part of a federal investigation which has led to the arrest of four individuals, however Sergio Pino was not yet indicted for any crime.
The beginning of Century Homebuilders
If you’ve seen the term “Century” in a Miami-Dade development, it’s probably started in The Pino family.
Sergio Pino was the founder of Century Homebuilders Group, LLC which was founded in 1995. Its website states is the largest homebuilder with a majority-Hispanic ownership in the country. The company boasts it owned, developed and/or operated more than 50 condominium and multi-family communities, which comprise more than 15,000 homes in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
He also co-founded and served as the president and chairman of Century Partners Group, and started his first business venture at the age of 20 with Century Plumbing, a retail plumbing company which “quickly grew to the largest Hispanic-owned plumbing company in the nation.”
Participation in the community
A fervent participant in and active participant in the South Florida community, he was president of the powerful Latin Builders Association from 1989-1992 and was an active member or held positions of leadership in the Builders Association of South Florida, Public Health Trust, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Mercy Foundation, Florida International University Board of Trustees and many more.
Sergio Pino was also appointed by Governor. Jeb Bush to join the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Commission in 2000.
Philanthropy
The Century Group’s site states that Sergio Pino and his companies have raised funds and awareness to La Liga Contra el Cancer and the American Cancer Society/Making Progress Against Breast Cancer Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation Department and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Miami Children’s Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital as well as Habitat for Humanity. The Pinos also helped fund the Florida International University’s Eugenio Pino & Family Global Entrepreneurship Center that is named in honor of his father and the family.
