Former US anchor of the news Lou Dobbs dies at 78

Conservative US journalist as well as loud Donald Trump supporter Lou Dobbs died aged 78 years old, according to the announcement made on Thursday through on the X Twitter account, by the team he is part of.
“It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of ‘The Great Lou Dobbs’,” the statement reads. “Lou was an unstoppable fighter until the very end fighting for the things that mattered to him most: God as well as his family and his country. “
Dobbs who has was previously employed by CNN in addition to Fox hosted his own show, known under the title The Great America Show, and also host of his show at the local radio station 77WABC.
Their wife Debi and his grandchildren and children.
Trump recognized Dobbs in a tweet sent to the Truth Social account as a “friend, and truly incredible Journalist, Reporter, and Talent”.
He was an international observer “better than others”, was “unique in so many ways” and had loved his country that is that is the US, Trump said, offering condolences.
by 2021 Fox pulled the telecast hosted by Dobbs after allegations of an use of the technology to disseminate false accusations of fraud in the 2020 election as well as being mentioned in a lawsuit for defamation by a maker of machines for voting in a suit to Fox.
A statement issued by Fox News said the company was “deeply saddened” by his death.
“An incredible business mind with a gift for broadcasting, Lou helped pioneer cable news into a successful and influential industry,” it says.
“We are incredibly grateful for the many contributions of his and offer our sincere condolences to his loved ones. “
